01About these terms#

These terms are an agreement between you and STRKE GOLF LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17214382 ("STRKE", "we", "us"). They apply when you use the STRKE Golf app, our website www.strkegolf.com, the /teeup early-access page and the waitlist. By creating an account or using STRKE you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use STRKE.

How we handle your personal data is explained separately in our Privacy Policy.

02Who can use STRKE#

• You must be 16 or over. The app, the /teeup page and our servers check this.
• STRKE is in early access. Signing up on /teeup sends us a request: we set up accounts ourselves, so signing up doesn't guarantee a place. An account is for one person; please don't share your login.
• You must give us accurate details. Your height, age, sex and handicap are used for your scores and benchmarks, so wrong details give wrong results.

03Your account#

• Keep your password private. If you turn on Face ID or fingerprint sign-in, anyone who can unlock your phone that way can open STRKE as you.
• Tell us straight away at hello@strkegolf.com if you think someone else has used your account.
• You can delete your account at any time in the app: Settings → Delete account.

04Using STRKE fairly#

Please don't:

• harass, threaten or impersonate other golfers or coaches, or use the friends, feed, report or coach features to upset people;
• upload photos, videos or information about someone else without their permission;
• try to get into other people's accounts or data, probe or overload our systems, scrape the app or website, or get around limits (including AI fair-use limits);
• copy, resell or reverse-engineer STRKE, or use it to build a competing product;
• use STRKE for anything unlawful.

You can block or report a golfer from their profile. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

05Your content#

You own the photos, videos, notes and data you add to STRKE. You give us permission to store, copy, process and display them only to run STRKE for you, for example to read your launch-monitor photos, score your shots, coach you, and show things to the friends and coach you choose. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except where the Privacy Policy says we keep something for longer.

If you share a fitting report link, anyone with the link can see that report until the link expires (30 days) or you stop sharing it.

06AI coaching, scores and fitting#

• STRKE uses AI to read launch-monitor screens and to write coaching tips. AI can make mistakes. Check the numbers it reads, and correct them when they're wrong.
• Scores, benchmarks, drills and fitting suggestions are for information and practice. They are not professional coaching, medical or equipment advice. Your results depend on the launch monitor you use and the data you give us.
• Practise safely: warm up, stop if anything hurts, and make sure the space around you is clear before you swing.

07Coaches#

Coaches on STRKE are independent; they are not employed by STRKE. A coach can only link to your account if you accept their request in the app, and you can remove a coach at any time. Anything you arrange with a coach (lessons, prices, cancellations) is between you and the coach.

08Plans, and changes to STRKE#

STRKE has a free plan. Some features have monthly allowances or fair-use limits (for example AI coaching messages or swing analyses). STRKE has no paid plans at the moment. If we introduce them, we'll update these terms and tell you the price and terms before you pay anything.

We may change, pause or stop features; if a change is significant we'll tell you in the app or by email first.

09Ending your use of STRKE#

You can stop using STRKE and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or where the law requires us to. Where we can, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to download or delete your data first.

10Our responsibility to you#

We provide STRKE with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit. Otherwise, we are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, for business losses, or for results that depend on your equipment, launch monitor or the data you enter. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.

11Law and disputes#

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU you keep the protection of the mandatory laws where you live, and you can bring a claim there. Please contact us first; most problems can be sorted out quickly.

12Changes to these terms#

We'll update this page when these terms change, and change the "Last updated" date. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it applies.

13Apple and Google app stores#

If you downloaded STRKE from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the app as well as these terms. In addition:

• These terms are between you and STRKE GOLF LTD, not Apple. STRKE, not Apple, is responsible for the app and its content.
• You may use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store usage rules.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. Please contact us for support.
• If the app fails to meet any warranty that applies by law, you may tell Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) of the app. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app; any other claims, losses or costs from a failure to meet a warranty are our responsibility, as set out in these terms.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for handling any claims about the app or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app does not meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and consumer protection, privacy or similar claims.
• If someone claims that the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are responsible for investigating, defending, settling and resolving that claim.
• You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. Once you accept them, Apple has the right (and is treated as having accepted the right) to enforce them against you.

If you downloaded STRKE from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply to your download. Google is not responsible for the app or for support.
