What is STRKE?
An iPhone app for golfers who practise on a launch monitor or simulator. Take a photo of your results and STRKE reads every shot, scores your session out of 100 and shows you what to fix first.
When can I get it?
Early access is open now, and STRKE is coming to the App Store in the UK. Join the list and we'll email you when it's there.
How much will it cost?
STRKE is free to download, and some features have monthly allowances. If we add paid plans, you'll see the price in the app before you pay anything.
Which launch monitors does it work with?
Any launch monitor or simulator that shows your shot numbers in a results table. You take a photo, so there's nothing to connect.
Do I need extra hardware?
No. Just your iPhone and the screen you already practise on.
Is it on Android?
Not yet. STRKE is on iPhone first.
What is the STRKE Score?
One number out of 100 for how well you're striking it, built from Impact, Direction, Distance and Consistency. It's graded for your level, so the bar rises as you improve.
Will the coach just give me generic tips?
No. It reads your numbers. If your shots don't show a fault, it tells you: no drill needed yet.
What if my monitor didn't measure something?
We say so. No average, no target and no drill for a number we don't have.
Does my swing video get uploaded?
Not for swing analysis. Your swing is analysed on your iPhone and the video stays on your phone. Only the measurements are saved to your account. A video you choose to add to a session, or one a coach records in a lesson, is uploaded so you can watch it back: the privacy policy has the details.
What happens to my data?
Your sessions are yours. Only friends you accept, and a coach you choose to link with, can see them, and you can turn sharing with friends off. We don't sell your data and we don't show ads. Read the privacy policy.
Is there a version for coaches?
Yes. Join early access and choose Coach.
Can I play rounds with friends?
Not yet: rounds and games are coming soon. Today you can compare scores with friends, club by club.
